Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu and prepare for the trip

Drive from Kathmandu to Bhotang Village (1,800m / 5,905ft)—about a 7 to 9-hour jeep or bus ride.

Trek from Bhotang Village to Nasimpati (3,700m / 12,139ft)—about 6 to 7 hours of walking through uphill forest paths.

Trek from Nasimpati to Panch Pokhari (4,100m / 13,451ft)—a shorter 3 to 4-hour hike to reach the holy lakes and local rest houses.

Explore the nearby viewpoint (4,300m) for Jugal Himal views, then trek back down toward Bhotang or Tangu Kharka.

Trek back to Bhotang village (if staying higher on Day 5) and catch a return drive back to Kathmandu.
